Join GRILLS PLUS MORE and FOUR PAWS ONLY to raise money for Polk County’s Save Our Homeless Pets (www.savehomelesspets.org)

The Mission of Save Our Homeless Pets is to take care of those animals already born by placing them in loving homes to spend the rest of their lives, and preventing more animals from being born in the future through low/no cost spay/neuter programs and a program for feral cats called Trap/Neuter and Return.

Save Our Homeless Pets Campaign is approved by Sheriff Grady Judd and is one of the Polk Sheriff’s Charities.

WHERE: GRILLS PLUS MORE, 2175 E. Edgewood Drive, Lakeland
WHEN: Saturday, September 26^th – 11am to 4pm

The events that day will include:

· Pulled Pork Lunch ($8 donation with all profits going to the Campaign)

· On-Site Adoptions

· Face painting for the Children

· Silent Auction – Local Businesses -- Goods and/or Services

The shelter also needs your assistance to acquire supplies. Bring your donations to Grills Plus More on the 26^th for delivery to the shelter. The following items are currently in short supply and donations would be very much appreciated:

· Dog and Cat food

· Bowls

· Blankets

· Newspapers

· Collars and leads

· Professional photography of animals in the shelter and uploading photos to our web-site
· Dog Walkers
· Foster Caregivers
· Groomers who will volunteer time and make animals more appealing to the public
· Volunteers to spend time socializing the animals
· Trainers and behavioral specialists to volunteer time and work with our shy and hard to place animals and temperament test our dogs
· Help making phone calls
· Incentives from businesses, discounts, coupons etc. to offer adopters
· Transporters to help deliver animals to rescue groups or their new homes

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our homeless animals. And remember, even if you can only help one, you might not think you made a big difference, but you sure did make a big difference to that one that you helped!
